About this time every year, I drag out my terra-cotta planters to start my spring planting. After using them several years, I have begun to notice a yucky white film on the sides of the pots.
The white film is actually hard-water deposits. We have a lot of minerals in our water, so I know how to help you.
Just follow the steps bellow and you’ll be getting rid of these stains in no time:
- White vinegar
- Hot water
- Metal sponge
- Take a bucket
- Pour equal amounts of white vinegar and water in it
- Put the pot in it
- Use the metal sponge to scrub the stains
- Rinse it well
